Just A CatDad
Who Creates

Cats, Clouds, Cars, and Code.

I’m Chuck Copeland, a digital creator who combines creative vision with the reliability of a seasoned leader.

My journey began in the early 2000s, flying the video-creation plane as I flew it while editing a regionally distributed DVD for Big Daddy Outfitters. When I launched NCHurricane.com in 2003, I used that project to develop my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development languages.

With a 30-year background in corporate management, I bring a unique level of discipline and problem-solving to every creative project. Whether I’m designing a website or editing a YouTube short, I approach the work with the same precision I once used racing stock cars: fast, accurate, and focused. When I’m not in the edit bay, I’m likely tracking severe weather or spending time with my wife and my four cats, The NCHurricats

Production & Development

Visual Creation

My post-production workflow utilizes DaVinci Resolve Studio and the full Adobe Creative Cloud for editing, motion graphics, and graphic design. Whether it's a long-form project, quick social media clip or a weekly email newsletter, I use the best tools to tell the story.

Web Architecture

With over 20 years of experience in HTML & CSS and a deep history with WordPress, I build responsive websites that are fast and accessible. I use VS Code and local testing environments to ensure every line of code works and every element is correct before it goes live.

The Engine Room

Creativity shouldn't have to wait on a loading bar. I built a custom, 128GB RAM, 14900K, NVidia-powered workstation engineered for zero-bottleneck rendering. This allows me to handle complex timelines and heavy multitasking without technical delays.
